Folding walk-and-run treadmills
A walking pad by day and a jog at the weekend: a folding handrail and 10–12 km/h, without a full treadmill's footprint.
1 great fits and 0 good ones, out of 7 models.
"2-in-1" pads are a flat walking pad with a handrail that lifts: with it down you walk up to 6 km/h under the desk; with it up, the pad goes to 10–12 km/h for a jog.
Two warnings before buying one to run in a flat. Noise: running has a flight phase and every landing multiplies the impact; no compact deck's cushioning makes it disappear. And the belt: running comfortably needs at least 120 cm of length; at 12 km/h your stride asks for more.
If you will really run several times a week, an ordinary folding treadmill will suit you better. For an occasional jog, these do the job and put away.

Frequently asked questions
Can you run on a walking pad?
Only on those with a running mode (handrail up, 10–12 km/h). Flat pads without a handrail stop at 6 km/h.
What belt length do I need to run?
At least 120 cm. Below that, a running stride is cramped.
